Kololi Beach Club and The Gambia as a whole is a world away from a standard European holiday. We have enjoyed many holidays over many years. The people are lovely and very welcoming and value for money in restaurants, bars and in general is exceptional. The weather is invariably sunny and very reliable. We are only selling due to poor health which is making it impossible to travel.

The resort itself is very well managed and maintained. It is always spotlessly clean in the apartments, facilities, and grounds. All the staff whether at reception, in the shops, in the clubhouse restaurant and bars or the maids who clean daily and the gardeners who are always tending something are very friendly and charming.

Outside of the resort there are many restaurants and bars offering every cuisine. The standard is generally good. There are also some excellent fine dining restaurants of a high standard. There is much to see in The Gambia and many local tour companies offer all kinds of half and full day tours, again at reasonable prices. For the brave you can even stroke a crocodile on one trip. I have and lived to tell the tale !!
