The timeshare resort of Underscar is a small group of twenty-five luxury lodges situated on the sheltered lower slopes of Skiddaw Fell and close to Keswick, a 5-minute drive away, with all its amenities, supermarkets, and restaurants.

The resort enjoys a "visit England " 5-star rating and onsite facilities include a private health spa where you can enjoy the indoor heated pool and jacuzzi, sauna and steam room plus a small but well-equipped gym. There is also a cafe bar and lounge which provides a good range of drinks and food.

The lodge is situated on the rear row of the development and enjoys good views over Derwentwater and down the Borrowdale Valley. We never tire of the marvellous view out over the lake towards Cat Bells and beyond. The area provides a wide range of walks for walkers of all abilities from leisurely walks around Derwentwater or Buttermere to the more challenging Scafell Pike and Blencathra.

The lodge has three bedrooms which are downstairs and living accommodation upstairs to take the best advantage of the panoramic views. The master bedroom, with its super king size bed, has an en-suite bathroom with large bath with shower incorporated, basin and WC. There is an additional bathroom which has large shower that doubles as a steam room, a basin and WC. Each bathroom has underfloor heating. Upstairs there is a split-level lounge and dining area adjoined by a comprehensively equipped modern kitchen with washing machine and dishwasher. Between the lounge and dining area is a further seating area with a double sofa bed enabling the unit to sleep eight.

There is also an outdoor patio area overlooking water features and looking towards the lake and mountains and at the rear, a courtyard space.

Free WiFi connection is available together with a flat screen TV with Apple TV Box, a Sonos music system, DVD player and a digital land line telephone.

There is a dedicated parking space for one car and additional parking is available at a small cost.

The timeshare is for the fixed week 16 which usually falls in mid-April and changeover day is Saturday.
