Week 27 coincides with the Scottish Golf Open, so this would be a great week to purchase for golf enthusiasts as a base to visit the golf - it will of course depend on where the Open is being held.

The lodge sits nestled quietly with a couple of other lodges, overlooking a small pond, and facing south - to get the best of the summer sunshine.

Located overlooking Loch Lomond, Cameron House is a mere 5 minutes from Balloch Station and only 30 minutes from Glasgow for shopping and theatre trips. Day trips north to Loch Fyne, Oban and even Fort William make Cameron House a fantastic base for exploring the highlands. If you want to tick off a few Monroes there is plenty of opportunity for hiking and climbing in the area. And of course, for the golfer, if you aren't busy watching the Open, there are plenty of courses to enjoy in the area. Cameron House even has its own nine-hole course.

From mountain biking to sea plane trips, from fishing to clay pigeon shooting, there is no end to the amazing things you can do. Indulge yourself at the Carrick Spa, flex a few easy muscles in the leisure club or go sailing on the loch.

We have loved our summers at Loch Lomond. The lodge provides a luxurious home from home in which to unwind or to base yourselves for more strenuous activities.

We are sad to put this on the market, after 25 years, but due to changing family circumstances it is time to hand it over to the next generation. Enjoy!
