Dining on the balcony with a glass of wine, looking out at an uninterrupted view across the Loch to Ben Lomond, is the most wonderful memory of our time there.

The drive up to the lodge takes you along the edge of the loch and past lovely rhododendron, at their best in early June. An easy twenty-minute quiet walk along the loch shores takes you to the town of Balloch with its many shops, pubs, and restaurants.

In over a decade of ownership we've enjoyed wondrous walks, picnics, and with the lodge sleeping eight, unforgettable family time. There is so much to do in the area from hiring a boat to fish on Loch Goyle to a seaplane flight around the summit of Ben Lomond, or just relaxing at the lodge and dining at the fantastic Boat House restaurant at the Marina after hiking the many trails around the Loch.

Lodge ownership also allows full free access to the five- star hotel leisure facilities and discounts on golf and dining at the hotel.
