Kids have access to their own section of the swimming pool and there is a bar and restaurant poolside, along with well-tended lawn areas.

For vegetarians, the Blooming Cactus is a must-visit for eating out. The harbour front is a part of Puerto del Carmen and can be reached on foot, as can the new town.

There are several kilometres of beachfront right within Puerto del Carmen, with Grande Beach and Los Pocillos having the best access and facilities, while Matagorda is a bit farther out. Visitors can enjoy a host of activities, such as windsurfing, scuba diving, fishing and submarine trips, at these beaches. Lanzarote Airport is within easy reach of Puerto del Carmen, situated as it is just beyond Matagorda. Buses run from here to town for a reasonable price, though taxi transport to Club Aquarius is your best bet.
