This apartment has one of the best locations in the resort. It is in a very private location on the top floor (Tier 4) of the harbour side of the rotunda. This means that you get excellent views of the boats entering and leaving the harbour. Also, the sun is on the balcony virtually all day long.

We bought the apartment week 40 in 2004, after spending several happy holidays in the Royal Savoy Vacation Club. It was carefully chosen. It is in a very private location with nobody above, which is a major advantage in terms of privacy and peace and quiet. The views are stupendous and it is very convenient for all of the facilities.

This is one of the two finest apartments at the Royal Savoy Vacation Club. We own them both. They were very carefully chosen and are both of stupendous quality with very similar advantages over the other apartments in the Royal Savoy Vacation Club. Our other apartment is week 39, which we have also listed for sale. They are both top floor apartments due to the tiered structure of the Royal Savoy Vacation Club.

I am selling these apartments, only very reluctantly, because my husband has passed away and I would not want to travel on my own. We have owned these apartments for 18 years and they have given us immense joy and very many happy memories. I would like to think that they will do the same for another family. Location:

Royal Savoy Hotel and Resort is a 5-star resort set in a superb sea front position on the bay of Funchal. Its clever architectural design provides guests with superb views of the Atlantic from all aspects of the complex.

The beautiful city of Funchal, with its Old Town district, bustling marina, tranquil park, cathedral, municipal theatre, and famous market, has tree lined streets and squares dotted with outdoor cafes and restaurants. There are also shopping centres, museums and two cable cars, and all are just a short walk away from the resort.

The Resort:

At the Royal Savoy you will find a host of amenities available to all guests. There are 2 attractive heated outdoor pools plus a children's paddling pool, which are set in the beautiful subtropical gardens. There is also a lovely indoor pool, which is just like swimming in a warm bath! Some of the many other amenities on site, to name just a few, include:

outdoor jacuzzi sauna steam room library health club full health spa (surcharge) hair salon (surcharge) a la carte restaurant cocktail bar.

The Armada restaurant offers a buffet breakfast (which has to be seen to be believed!), as well as mouth-watering lunch and dinner options. You can even dine outside on the decking next to the pool should you wish, which is a serene and enjoyable way to either start or finish your day. There is also a cafe/snack bar by the outdoor pools and 24/7 room service.

Entertainment is provided nightly for guests free of charge.

Occupancy is Monday to Monday, and the apartments are fully serviced. This includes a daily maid visit to providing cleaning, change of towels / bedding, and bed making. A turn-down service is also provided; should the sofa bed be used by guests.

The Apartment:

This luxury apartment on offer provides stunning views from its 4th floor setting, which is one of the most popular within the resort. It is a studio one bathroom apartment and is beautifully appointed with high end fixtures and fittings.

The large balcony, which is accessed directly from the lounge areas, basks in the warm Madeira sunshine all day. A dining table and chairs, plus sun loungers are provided on the balcony, so you can breakfast or dine al-fresco whenever you like.

As well as the spacious lounge area with an ocean-facing balcony, there is a generous twin bedroom area with plentiful wardrobe space and a well-equipped kitchenette. The lounge area has a comfortable sofa bed which converts into a double bed for guests. The design of this apartment offers superb accommodation for up to 4 people.

The apartment is approximately 38m2 in size, with a balcony area of 9m2.

Ownership is until 31 December 2032.
