The living and dining areas are open plan with comfortable seating and a wood burning stove with satellite TV. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, fridge/freezer, and washer/dryer. There are two sets of French doors leading to the terrace and a large but secluded garden, ideal for children and dogs. There is a downstairs cloakroom and a children's TV room with convertible double sofa bed. Upstairs there are 3 lovely light bedrooms and a large family bathroom. The Master bedroom is en suite and has a balcony overlooking the garden. Outside there is a large patio table and chairs for entertaining; there are even takeaway BBQ sets to borrow.

On site there is a 20m outdoor heated swimming pool with beautiful changing rooms, a tennis court, a gym, and spa. There is the on-site award-winning New Yard Restaurant and a home-made Pizza bar. The resort is "Pet Friendly". Local shops selling local organic produce are nearby and our journey always takes us past two big supermarkets in Helston.

Trelowarren is surrounded by countryside full of silence punctuated by bird song yet is close to the awe-inspiring Lizard Point (watch out for seals and even sharks!) Kynance Cove, Mullion and of course Porthleven with its photogenic harbour and superb restaurants. Fabulous walking on the South West Coast Path leads to spectacular views of cliffs and sea. In spring the whole area is scented by the luminous gold gorse flowers, bluebells, and red campion.

April is the best time for visiting the many National Trust and other privately-owned gardens of Cornwall with their beautiful spring displays.Fabulous.
