The Royal Tenerife Golf and Country Club is a little bit of Paradise nestled in the
Southern part of Tenerife. lt is semi desert so warm but not humid, perfect for
golf or lying by a swimming pool. lt is surrounded by golf courses & beautiful
gardens. The Villas are all identical white with red tiled roofs. The interiors are
finished with local wood and very attractive. Two bedrooms, one with an ensuite
bathroom, the second with a bathroom next toit. Nice furniture with a lovely
outdoor terrace with table set for 6 or 8 persans. A small BBQ outside the back
door. There are 3 swimming pools, one a shallow pool suitable for the little tots,
a deep water pool for the serious swimmers and the third pool is most intriguing
since it flows in a circle around a charming little café, so you can swim and nad to
friends having a coffee or a meal. All of the pools are overlooked by the very
spectacular mountain range.

If you don't want to play golf or lie in the sun, the staff have a host of activities
and excursions which you can take. We took a coach trip to Key West and
although it was a long day, it was wonderful. We also took the excursion to Loro
Parque which I think is a must see, it is a fabulous day out, and you could spend
hours at this place, the Aquarium is world class and you walk through this with
sharks swimming above & around you. There is also a Zoo but I mustn't tell you
too much, the day went by much too fast. lt is situated in Puerto de la Cruz in the
north of the island, which gets more rain evidenced by the flowers & plants
everywhere.
