The spacious villa with two generously proportioned double bedrooms, both ensuite, is beautifully located within this superb, award winning resort. The villa can sleep 6 in comfort if the sofa bed in the lounge area is utilised. An ideal conjunction of Villa, Resort, and calendar, with weeks 49/50 being available at what is such an excellent time of year.

These weeks coincide with The Annual Charter Yacht Show, 5-9th December 2020, which is a huge attraction and a major event, generating a superb atmosphere across the island in the many bars and restaurants in the run up to Christmas. Indeed, these two weeks also mean you can be safely back home for Christmas or book a few nights extra in the hotel to enjoy Christmas in the Caribbean!

In addition, the villa itself is well positioned within St James Club , on Upper Hill with fabulous views over Mamora Bay and the resort itself, plus benefiting from the soporific Trade Winds around this time of year, while being within a stone's throw of the excellent Spa and the fine dining offered by the beautiful Piccolo Mondo restaurant and an easy walk to the beach

Our family have grown to regard SJC as a home from home over the years we have visited since 2004 and held the villa since 2007. We are very sad sellers having discovered this veritable gem where many SJC team members have become personal friends.

The Vacation Club team have also been extremely flexible, over the years, in arranging different villas on occasions when weeks 49/50 have not worked for us.
It is worth noting that 2021 benefits from two 'banked' weeks, in addition to weeks 49/50, that can be negotiated and easily arranged.

Soak up the sun or take a dip in the resort's six swimming pools, including a children's pool and an adults-only pool. Keep fit on the four tennis courts and state-of-the art Fitness Centre and unwind with rejuvenating treatments in the on-site Spa & Salon.

Parents will appreciate the childcare and babysitting services, and the kids will love their own swimming pool and children's activities as well as the beaches with Mamora Bay itself being particularly suitable for young children. In addition, for the little ones, the resort offers a complimentary Kids Club with a host of activities

St James Club even has its own catamaran to enjoy sunset, and other, cruises.

Special mention should be made of the tennis facilities, from our point of view, where the excellent resident tennis coach has helped hone our dubious and varied skills over the years with patience, skill, and insight. All, or no, skill levels are welcome!

Guests are spoiled for dining choices as the resort has five distinctive restaurants which serve everything from buffet-style meals to international cuisine in either casual or formal dining atmospheres. The resort is well appointed with bars both during the daytime and evenings, with a beach cart providing drinks, for the sun lovers on the beaches, plus there are evening events that complement your dining experience. The Full Moon Beach party is always a particular highlight for all to enjoy.

Golf buggy shuttles are complimentary throughout the grounds.

St James Club is situated just 40 minutes from the airport in St John's , close to English Harbour, Falmouth, Nelson's Dockyard, and the excellent Shirley Heights where Sunday evenings are a must to experience 'Antigua at play' with an atmospheric BBQ ,outstanding Steel Band, followed by showcased musical talent that seems to abound in Antigua.

Car hire or taxis with friendly, flexible, knowledgeable drivers are readily available, from the resort.

Antigua is steeped in history, so for those who would rather not sunbathe there is plenty to see and do. There are 365 beautiful beaches to explore, plus close by Nelson's Dockyard that offers a fascinating insight to that period of history.

THE VILLA:

A real home from home, this flexible, spacious 2-bedroom villa is well situated on Upper Hill, overlooking the beautiful Mamora Bay, and offering great views given its gently elevated position. Both fine dining at Piccolo Mondo and relaxation at the Spa are close by, which combined with a gentle stroll to the Mamora Bay beach, tennis courts and state of the art gym, has the villa ideally positioned.

The villa's upper level boasts a large well equipped, half covered, veranda meaning that there is the option of sun and shade from sunrise to dusk. Patio door access is from both the lounge and dining areas providing a lovely 'through breeze'.

Both spacious double rooms are ensuite, with the larger having a generous bath with shower over and toilet. The second spacious bedroom can be set up as either a double or twin and has a shower and toilet ensuite. Both rooms have generous wardrobe space plus delightful access directly on to the lower patio area.

On the upper floor, the open plan dining/living/kitchen area is spacious and airy, with patio doors on to the veranda from both lounge and dining areas, framing beautiful views over Mamora Bay and the resort itself. Just beautiful.

The sofa bed in the lounge area has the option to sleep 2 more people. Both bedrooms have flat screen TVs as does the lounge area.

The kitchen is fully equipped including a large fridge freezer, microwave, and hob which, when combined with the BBQ on the veranda, allows for in-house catering when in the mood. Room service is also available.

The spacious nature of the accommodation means that even members of a larger party can find a 'quiet place' when required! The villa has air conditioning and fans in every room.

Housekeeping is included and staff will change sheets and towels and wash up any kitchen dishes daily as well as ensuring the villa is clean and tidy.
