Blessed with 10 cafes & restaurants, as well as a jazz club, within a short walk in one direction in Haut de Cagnes; a busy town of shops, markets & other facilities in Cagnes sur Mer within a short walk in the opposite direction; and the Mediterranean beaches & sea a further stroll, the house is ideally situated as a 'home away from home' for long or short periods of relaxation and exploration. Nice (14 km), Cannes (24 km), Grasse (33 km) are some of the places to explore, the ski resort of Isola 2000 is only 90 minutes drive away for the winter and a range of activities occurs in the summer. Travel by plane to Aéroport Nice Côte d'Azur (20 minutes by car), TGV train to Nice or an easy autoroute drive through France, with parking a short walk away.

Effectively you pay for 25% of the house but have access to 100% of it on a rotational basis for 3 weeks every 3 months of the year as part of a private fractional-owning partnership. A modest quarterly payment is paid by each partner to cover local municipal taxes, insurance, water usage and a contribution to electricity usage, with the balance of each partner's specific electricity usage being determined at the end of each year. Cleaning arrangements are currently made with a neighbour, and a local English handyman looks after the maintenance needs of the property. An investment programme over the last 5 years has seen the installation of a completely new bathroom and replacement double-glazed windows. Satellite-based UK television is available.
