The Marriott Son Antem has been our home from home for the past 10 years. We bought the weeks when our daughters were very young after renting for a few years. We have family in Mallorca, so the location was ideal. The resort is beautiful, with fabulous facilities. We used the children's club for many years, take part in the organised activities and use the well-appointed gym. The on-site restaurant is reasonably priced and excellent food. The apartments themselves are spacious and well fitted, with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Perfect for our family of 4, and we have had extended family stay over, using the sofa bed and other fold down beds. The villa pools are idyllic, and we have frequently had a pool to ourselves, even in the height of summer. The spa pool (we always called it the "indoor/outdoor pool") is a fabulous place to hang out, so you can join in with the activities. If you don't want to eat out, the marketplace has everything you need to make meals, we love the freshly baked bread and pastries. We have always loved having barbeques in the back garden of the villa. Eating out is also an easy and great option - we have tried most of the restaurants in Llucmajor - the nearest town, 10 minutes' drive. Palma is only 20 minutes' drive and is a wonderful city to visit. Within an hour, you can drive to most parts of the Island, including Soller, Valldemossa, Deia, Pollensa, Porto Cristo. We are reluctantly selling our timeshare weeks as our children are growing up and no longer want to come away with us.
