We have been owners at Golf Apartments at Richmond Park for 17 years. When we first bought the week, we lived in Gloucestershire and used it as a base for visiting family in Norfolk and an occasional round of golf. We have subsequently moved to Norfolk and now live less than 25 miles away.

The golf course is well established and has matured nicely over the years; it offers plenty of challenge due to water hazards. Owners get 2 free green fees per day and any additional green fees (up to max occupation of 6) at 50% off. The facilities of the clubhouse are available to owners and include a bar and two restaurants - there is a pleasant outside seating area which overlooks the 18th green.

Richmond Park is close to the market town of Watton and local attractions include Wayland Wood and the Pingo trail. The county town of Norwich is approx. 25 miles away and places such as Thetford Forest, The Royal Estate at Sandringham and the fabulous North Norfolk coast are within easy reach. The two closest airports are Norwich (25 miles) and Stanstead (60 miles).

The unit has 2 upstairs bedrooms and one bathroom, it sleeps up to 6 using a sofa bed in the spacious open plan living area.

The week is fixed (week 15 - Next year starting Saturday 11th April 2020 - which is Easter Saturday) and often falls within the school Easter holidays. When our kids were at school, we would use the week when it fell in the holidays and exchange through RCI when it didn't. We have had some fabulous exchanges in Scotland, Wales, Holland, Spain, and the Canary Islands.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our time as owners at Richmond Park but, now that the kids have become more independent, we think the time is right to return to our old globe-trotting ways and see more of the world whilst we still can.
