No matter what life has thrown at us over the years, within a few hours of being here, starting with the complimentary fizz or rum punch at check-in, we feel renewed. Our beautiful villa is one of the largest 2-bedroom villas in the quiet part of Mid Hill and positioned to get the ideal views including the sunset.

The villa sleeps 6 in a king-size bedroom (ensuite with bath and shower), a twin room and a sofa bed in the spacious sitting room. There is a large family shower room, dining room, covered terraces upstairs and downstairs and a barbecue. The big kitchen is ideal if you wish a change from the four restaurants on-site. You can also opt in to the very reasonably priced all-inclusive package. We often eat out for the first three days just to unwind - drinks from the roving golf cart on the beach means you don't even have to leave the sunbed on either of the glorious beaches. There is a wealth of restaurants and bars in nearby English Harbour or Falmouth.

This villa's larger half-covered terrace means that there is the option of sun and shade from sunrise to dusk. Even after dark, you can lie on the loungers and listen to the tree frogs while watching the stars. The Mamora Bay beach is less than a minute's walk from the door.

For the more energetic, there is a full programme of free activities, water sports, a gym, several tennis courts, snorkelling gear, and evening entertainment. There is a kids' club and programme. Golf buggy shuttles are complimentary throughout the grounds.

Housekeeping is included and staff will change sheets and towels and wash up any kitchen dishes daily.

St James Club is close to English Harbour and Falmouth. Car hire or taxis are easily available, and the island is simple to navigate.

The advantage of even years only means that flight costs and times are taken once rather than twice. Maintenance, currently £750, is only paid for the even years. This is a popular week and renting it out is straightforward should you wish to do so. Alternatively, it can be swapped or banked either with St James or with RCI, or through the other owner's network.
