Paradise offers the best of both worlds as our apartment has the benefit of being both a fixed, red week 29 and floating week, depending upon your need in any given year, and if it is the latter you are allocated a similar apartment, if not the same one, in any week in the year that you choose. We have therefore shown photos indicative of the apartment you would be allocated. However, our fixed week has one of the biggest terrace balconies in the resort with stunning sunset views out to sea.

Because CLC at Paradise is affiliated to the following exchange companies you will be able to exchange this apartment week (two weeks from DAE) across the world to a resort of the same standard or even more luxurious:

1. Dial an Exchange (DAE) giving you unlimited holiday possibilities. Also, as our apartment is a red week we can deposit it with DAE and receive two weeks in exchange to holiday anywhere in the world at any time of the year, effectively doubling our access to wonderful resorts worldwide every year.

CLC at Paradise takes 16 minutes (13.9 m) from Tenerife South airport and is located within walking distance to its nearest beach Playa Adeje and a short drive from the marina at Puerto Colon. Many soft sandy beaches are nearby with sporting activities including snorkelling (the sea life is extraordinary), surfing, jet skiing, hang gliding, deep-sea fishing, para-sending, diving, and windsurfing. The resort hosts a variety of activities all day and into the evening and nearby Playa de las Americas has a vibrant nightlife, with many restaurants where you can taste local cuisine and enjoy a range of cocktails at fun bars.

If you are feeling adventurous then you must take a bus or drive to Mount Teide National Nature Park and see the third highest volcano in the world and its amazing lunar landscape. It is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site and is mesmerising at night, so peaceful with stunning views of the stars against the unpolluted black night sky. It is Spain's (not just Tenerife) highest mountain, soaring 3,718 metres above sea level. This is one of the most visited national parks in the world.

Then there is the ancient, colourful Los Gigantes (the Giants). These giant rock formations loom 800 metres out of the sea over the Santiago del Teide, where you can take a boat to view them close up.

If you are with family then Siam Park would thrill you and the children a spectacular, Thai themed water park. Beautifully landscaped it includes both gentle and knuckle whitening water rides and an enormous wave pool where you can learn to surf, and quieter areas for relaxing, eating and walking.

Talking of walking Tenerife, particularly southern Tenerife, is one of the best places to go in the world for walking due to its diversity of terrain, wildlife, flora, and spectacular views. A lot of money has been spent over recent years on establishing well marked routes for gentle to demanding walks that include those volcanic moonscapes, stunning coastal cliff and beach walks, forests and river walks, ravines, and gentle meadows. Whether you want to take a stroll or test your fitness and stamina then there are as many routes as the needs of the wide range of walkers who visit. Below are a few examples which can be viewed on the internet,

o Coastal Walks This beautiful walk goes between Los Cristianos to Las Galletas through two nature reserves.

o Monta Blanca Explore the area around Mount Teide with this walk leading to the summit of one of its smaller neighbours.Fantastic views. An easy walk.

o Guaiara It is another mountain next to Teide, rising to about 9000 feet. This is by no means for amateur hikers, as the air becomes thinner at such high altitudes and the going gets quite tough.

o The Pine Forests from Las lajas is a fairly easy walk downhill walk Barranco del Infierno (Hell's Ravine) almost from the resort in Adele This is ~3-hour easy walk through lush valley with gorgeous views.

o Arona Ifonche uses the old goatherders route and if you climb Roque del Imoque there are stunning views.

On site Paradise boasts thoughtful and considerate service. All staff who work there courteously try to meet all your needs whether it is culinary, with a veggie breakfast, bulgur wheat salad lunch or steak dinner in Zacary's (an a' la carte restaurant and bar beside the pool with wonderful sunset sea views) or just taking the time to help you find where to play table tennis.

We mustn't forget to mention Team Marina Kids' Club with an ever-changing daily programme of games, competitions, and mini discos. Our children loved it.

For the adults there are numerous forms of entertainment from water polo to arts and crafts and excellent live performances depending on the season.
