There is a commercial centre in Costa de Silencio. Las Galletas is 5 minutes by car from Costa de Silencio and is a nice little fishing port, the beach is with black sand and rocky. There are few people sunbathing there. This settlement is quiet place, with very good small restaurants and shops. The better beach could be found in Las Americas. Exciting experience for children and their parents is Siam Park (17 km from Costa del Silencio). More time is needed to reach the famous Loro Park (100 km). The nearest airport is Tenerife Sur Airport (TFS) (13 km).
