We are offering a one bedroom, ground floor Stable Mews apartment that comfortably sleeps four. There is one double bedroom and a sofa bed in the large lounge area. There is one bathroom, a fully fitted kitchen and all linen is provided. The apartment, with its own parking bay, sits to one side of a patio area within beautifully manicured grounds, with sweeping views of Rutland Water. This is a fixed week unit, week 27 (July) which, together with RCI Gold Crown listing of the resort, gives the owner greater bargaining power when exchanging. Indeed, as locals, we have regularly used all the facilities at Barnsdale and have been able to swap our timeshare through RCI for holidays both here in the UK and abroad.

The timeshare comes with 2 Leisure cards with the opportunity to invite 2 guests to use the facilities all year round. These include: indoor 22m swimming pool, a gym and squash courts. Outdoor pursuits include bowls, boules, a children's play area, nine-hole pitch and put, crazy golf, and croquet. Golf, shooting, horse riding, sailing, fishing, and windsurfing can also be organised by special arrangement.

As Black Card Holders you are entitled to 10% discount in both the bar and restaurant at all times - Sunday lunches are a must!

The county town of Oakham is 3 miles away and the historic town of Stamford and Burghley House ( a magnificent stately home) only 9 miles away. Melton Mowbray, Leicester, and Nottingham are all within easy driving distance. East Midlands airport is 45 miles, and Birmingham airport 65 miles. There are train stations in both Oakham and Stamford.

Visitors can discover Rutland on the local Shorelink tourist bus or just head out to Rutland Water where there are so many activities available, whether you want to walk, cycle, bird watch, sail, climb or fish. Recently added family attractions are the Beach and the UK's largest inflatable Aqua Park. To appreciate the scenery from the water, you can take a trip around the reservoir aboard The Rutland Belle.

Rutland is truly a beautiful county and as an owner at Barnsdale you will be able to experience the best of it all.

Having now retired, and the kids having flown the nest, the time has come to do other things, hence the sale.
