In Madeira in Funchal in the Lido area is located a modern 4* hotel very close to the sea. The name of this wonderful hotel is Pestana Promenade Ocean Resort Hotel. Just a few kilometres outside the centre of Funchal the hotel is ideally located. It is very easy to catch a bus or a taxi and go to Funchal or why not go for a nice half an hour walk.

At the second highest floor, the 6th floor, in convenient proximity to the lift is the apartment for sale. It is a large one-bedroom apartment with large welcoming rooms: a bedroom and a living room. There are two spacious bathrooms and a fully equipment kitchen, so you are able to make dinner if and when you choose. Refrigerator, microwave oven, oven, cooker, electric kettle, and dishwasher.

The kitchen is in direct connection to the living room where you find a dining table, armchairs, and a sofa bed so 4 people can sleep in the apartment. There is plenty of room for extra sleeping accommodation.

The apartment offers a large balcony with a wonderful view of the ocean and the pool/garden area. There is table and chairs and two sun beds.

Should you for some reason choose to stay in the apartment this is a very nice apartment to stay in. But you should also have a look around the hotel. From the large welcoming reception area to the restaurants and bar with outdoor serving to the spa and indoor pool area, fitness room and library the hotel fully lives up to the highest standards. The hotel offers a beautiful pool and garden area with lots of plants and flowers and there is also a very nice pool bar and lunch cafe.

Pestana Promenade is well located with many restaurants nearby as well as supermarkets. Also, the promenade going all the way out to Camera do Lobos is right next to the hotel. There is a large park making the area even more appealing and a wonderful place to spend your holidays. Should you choose to rent a car during your stay the hotel offers parking in the garage free of charge.

If you have not yet been to Madeira, you are in for a treat. There is a reason Madeira has won several prizes as the best holiday island destination. Madeira has something to offer for everyone, just go on the internet and have a look. From the hotel you can go by taxi, rented car or bus (bus stop is right outside the hotel) to interesting places on the island. East, north, west, and south they all got lovely spots so explore. And of course, we must not forget the famous levada walks. These walks along the Levadas (canal systems developed four hundred years ago to distribute water across the island) will take you through beautiful country sides, some are easy, and some are challenging but they all offer you the breath-taking scenery of Madeira.
