The historic, famous golfing town of St Andrews is just 10 miles from the estate with easy access to various towns and cities, including Dundee, Perth, Kirkcaldy, and the Scottish Capital of Edinburgh. 2 miles in the other direction leads you to the coastal towns of Elie, Crail & Anstruther to name just a few, with bars, restaurants, shops, and various activities available.

Activities available on the estate range from outdoor tennis, putting, a golf driving range, horse riding, heated indoor swimming pool, saunas, snooker tables, a gym, table tennis, badminton court, children's games room, outdoor play areas and DVD hire. This is a deed timeshare, not points, and it is possible to exchange for time shares around the UK and indeed the world. We once exchanged our week at the castle for a 2 week break in Florida! It may also be possible to exchange your week from time to time for another week in the year at the castle.

The Castle suite is on 2 levels with an open living room/dining/kitchen and very spacious. The master bedroom boasts a large 4 poster bed with your own bath in your room too! There is a family bathroom too and a twin bedroom. The other 2 beds are in the form of the pull-out sofa in the lounge. Views from the suite are over the extremely well, maintained gardens and outdoor tennis court. The suite also has its own car parking place.
