The Menorcan styled White Sands Country Club is a pleasant timeshare complex in the Port of Addaia area of northern Menorca. This idyllic Balearic island is eternally popular with families and couples and the resort has an attractive setting in this quieter part of the island.

Reviews typically describe it as being peaceful and relaxing, while super-friendly staff and stunning surroundings complete the picture. The walking in this area is especially enchanting, with lots of water and greenery, while the beautiful beach of Arenal D'En Castell is 30 minutes on foot.

Accommodation goes from studios and apartments right up to three bedroom houses, the latter being blessed with a couple of balconies and fine views over the pool and port. There is also the option of a garden terrace. These are fully equipped with spacious bathroom, kitchen with cooker and fridge and a fine lounge area with TV.

The lovely Menorca styling and hues are internal and external, while the pool area is large and good for both adults and kids. This resort is spotless, to boot, with beautifully manicured grounds and the lifeguard-monitored pool area is very well kept. Kids will also enjoy the playground and pool table, while adults can keep toned in the gym.

The poolside bar puts out decent snacks and drinks, while nearby are several restaurants including the Taj Indian. A supermarket is within walking distance and the staff here are very friendly and helpful for sorting issues and providing information on Menorca.

Guests can also head up to the White Sands Beach Club sister resort to be closer to the beach, which is at nearby Arenal D'En Castell. There’s a nice infinity pool here as well as good dining and it is right over the beach.

You can enjoy easier going water sports at the beach or perhaps rent a bike and take to the miles of trails; bikes can be rented from White Sands Country Club. The nearby Golf Son Park Menorca is also a hit and fishing trips go from Arenal D'En Castell. Many timeshare owners hire a car during their holiday and there are some fabulous drives along uncongested roads. Menorca is one of the Mediterranean’s most stunning islands, with a rugged coastline and rich interior and there are some pretty towns with historic sites to take in. S'Albufera d'es Grau Natural Park is quite nearby, while Menorca Airport is near Mahon, the capital, about a 30-minute transfer.
