A beautifully appointed holiday home in the beautiful English Lake District nestled on the road just above the main town centre of Bowness on Windermere.

It is set in leafy picturesque grounds and is less than a 5-minute stroll from Lake Windermere and set in the heart of the small Cumbrian villages of Bowness and Windermere, which are filled with local amenities and boutique shops.

This unit comfortably sleeps 6, has private parking plus shared visitor parking on site. It has a spacious main double bedroom with en-suite, the main bathroom, and a twin room also on ground floor with a large storage cupboard. The third bedroom has twin beds and can be found on a galleried landing /mezzanine above the lounge area. Kids just love this area.

The huge open plan living, kitchen and dining area is on the first floor. One side of this living space is glass looking out onto both a balcony and sunroom - both with comfortable furniture and tables.

The kitchen is well appointed with all mod cons, dishwasher, fridge, cooker, microwave etc and there are board games, movies, DVD player and radio in the lounge.

On the resort there is a newly refurbished indoor swimming pool complex, including spa, jacuzzi and pool tables, to keep all entertained whatever the weather.

The English Lake District is approx. 1.5-hour drive from Newcastle airport, 1.45 hours from Manchester and 2 hours from Glasgow ...... Road and rail links are very good, bringing you through stunning scenery on route.

This unit is only for sale as we are relocating to New Zealand and are no longer able to use it for our family holidays.

During the past 10 years of ownership we have only rented it out once ... It's just too nice to share.
