Blakeney is a popular coastal village and lies within the Norfolk Coast AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty). It has shops, bistros and recommended inns within short walking distance - all the necessary amenities for a self-catering holiday.
Blakeney is in easy reach of Norwich and The Broads, also nature reserves (NWT - Cley) , bird sanctuaries (RSPB- Titchwell) and the Blakeney seal colony. The area is popular with walkers, birdwatchers, artists and photographers. It is on the Coastal path giving scenic views and access to beaches around the North Norfolk coast. It is also a popular sailing resort. The Georgian market town of Holt with the Poppy Line steam railway and the medieval pilgrimage town of Little Walsingham are short drives away.

We have enjoyed our holidays in Blakeney and the only reason we are selling is that we liked the area so much that we moved up to Norfolk on retirement.
