The Pestana Promenade is one of the newest and most sophisticated contemporary resorts in Funchal and is ideally located within a thirty minute pleasant walk from the historic capital. There is a bus stop outside of the resort with regular services to the town and numerous other areas of Madeira including a direct service to the airport. It is also close to the recently built Forum shopping centre that houses a number of international retail stores along with a large supermarket, restaurants and multi studio cinema screening recently released films in English (Portuguese subtitles).

The resort itself is superbly appointed with lift access to all floors including a large 'infinity' outdoor pool surrounded by beautiful subtropical landscaped gardens. There is also an indoor pool along with gym, sauna and spa. There is direct access to the pedestrian only promenade which runs alongside the attractive coastline. The fully air conditioned resort boasts two restaurants, a bar, free Wi-fi throughout and also a members' club room. It is equally suited to families as well as couples.

This is a large deluxe duplex apartment (totalling 156.5m2) that has the benefit of being situated on two floors. On the lower floor, there is a large balcony looking directly out to sea, a comfortable lounge area and fully equipped kitchen, including a cooker, microwave and dishwasher. There is also a shower room/cloakroom on this floor.

Upstairs there are two double bedrooms (one with its own large balcony looking out to sea), which has an adjacent private sun terrace/bathing area with a jacuzzi plunge pool.
