Pestana's Miramar Garden Resort near the centre of Funchal, Madeira has provided us with many terrific holidays over the years but unfortunately now due to ill-health we are having to restrict our travel and will not be able to return. We are therefore reluctantly selling our three weeks.

It is a fully equipped studio apartment that sleeps two. There are magnificent views from the sixth-floor balcony of Funchal, the harbour, Garagau and the Islas Desertas.

The weeks are for sale as a block or separately. And we are happy to consider offers especially if all three weeks are being sold together.

The resort has splendid facilities including: pools (indoor and outdoor), gym, health centre, restaurants, bars, lifts, car parking, hairdresser and is close to all amenities: shops, restaurants, buses and taxis.

Miramar prides itself on its ambience. The gardens are a delightful feature and the whole development is centred around a tastefully restored quinta, a traditional Madeiran estate house, dating back to the late 19th century. The balcony of the quinta offers an ideal spot for an aperitif before dinner as you sit in peace and admire the view of Funchal.
