1 Bedroomed apartment (sleeps 4) at The Pearly Grey Ocean Club in Callao Salvaje, Tenerife. This is one of the smaller, quieter resorts in Tenerife but has plenty of bars and outstanding restaurants. Situated just 28kms from the nearest airport, which takes approximately 25 minutes by car or taxi. Yet is within easy reach of Playa Los Americas, Los Cristianos and Los Giantes which are all only a bus ride away. Local transport links are excellent in Callao Salveje. Mount Teide which is sometimes snow-capped can be seen from the back-hall ways of the resort.

The Pearly Grey sits right on the coast overlooking the sea in the foreground and Gomera beyond. The Club provides entertainment most nights and during the day, with a kid�s club for younger visitors, should you want it. The restaurant is first class and the Edge Bar, situated just where it says, on the edge of the resort overlooking the ocean, offers a comprehensive cocktail menu, outstanding food, and a feeling of luxury. The resort which has a heated outdoor pool and sun terrace with its own health club containing Jacuzzi, Sauna and Gymnasium is an RCI Gold Crown resort but can be used through Dial an Exchange. It has a bowling green should you wish to bowl and golf can be arranged through reception.

This apartment is a fixed week apartment (week 11) which falls in March each year. It has one bedroom and one bathroom with a full kitchen. The bathroom being a shower room. It contains a TV with DVD and large overhead fans should you need them. The balcony offers outstanding views of the ocean it being on the 5th floor. There is no problem with stairs as all floors are served by a lift. Parking on the resort is limited but most guests use the free public car park situated across the road.

The resort is well maintained with an on-going plan to refurbish all the apartments as needed. The staff are helpful and friendly. You see many familiar faces each year. The reception staff can arrange sightseeing tours and there is no problem exchanging currency. There is also a beautician and hairdresser on site. We are reluctantly selling this apartment as it no longer fits in with our long-term retirement plans.
