This luxury Gold Crown detached lodge is situated in the landscaped grounds of the 5* Cameron House, and offers lovely views towards the golf course with Loch Lomond beyond. The lodge is surrounded by extensive lawns with mature trees and shrubs, and has its own parking space with shallow steps leading down to the lodge entrance. The lodge is situated on two floors, with the kitchen, living room, bathroom, and sauna upstairs to maximise the view, and two double bedrooms downstairs at ground level. The ground floor entrance lobby is spacious with a large storage cupboard, leading through to a twin-bedded bedroom with ensuite bathroom and wall mounted TV, and beyond the master bedroom with a king-size bed, wall mounted TV, ensuite bathroom and jacuzzi. A small family of Cameron House ducks sometimes gather on the grass outside the main bedroom window in the hope of being fed!

Upstairs, the lounge is light and spacious with sloping pine clad ceilings, and extensive windows with French doors opening out onto a balcony with table and chairs with views of Loch Lomond. The lounge is comfortable and well equipped with leather sofas, a large coffee table, a wall mounted flat screen TV, and large dining table with chairs. There is also an adult size folding down bed which sleeps two adults bringing the sleeping capacity of the lodge to 6. The all electric kitchen, which is semi open plan, is excellently equipped for self-catering with dishwasher, electric oven and separate hob, microwave, and a range of glassware, crockery, and cutlery. The kitchen window has a scenic view over trees and ponds within the landscaped grounds. There is a washer/dryer in utility room, and a separate sauna and luxury bathroom on the same floor as the lounge.

The lodge benefits from the extensive facilities on the Cameron House site, including a choice of restaurants and bars, and the hotel Leisure Centre with swimming pool, Jacuzzis, squash courts, pool tables and gym, and outside tennis courts and crazy golf. Swimming in the leisure centre pool in full view of the nearby waters of the loch makes for a very special and relaxing experience. The Leisure Centre also runs a full programme of exercise classes, and offers group activities for children in the school holiday period.

Further afield, Cameron House is situated within the Loch Lomond National Park, an area of outstanding natural beauty which covers both the Loch Lomond area and the Trossachs. It is also within easy reach of the Firth of Clyde and the Cowal Peninsula, and the West Highland railway line from Helensburgh to Oban. There is frequent train access to both Glasgow and Edinburgh with their many art galleries, shops, cinemas and theatre, and Glasgow Airport can be reached within 30 minutes across the Erskine Bridge. Cycle hire and canoe hire can be arranged at the nearby Loch Lomond Shores within a 10-minute walk from the lodge, and there are regular boat trips on Loch Lomond which run from nearby Balloch.

Week 31 at the beginning of August is a Red Week and falls within both the Scottish and the English school holidays, making this a very attractive option for families with children and young people who enjoy both indoor and outdoor activities. The hours of daylight are still long in early August, and allow for al fresco meals on the balcony on warm evenings. The timeshare week is always Sunday to Sunday, with entry to the lodge from 4pm onwards on arrival day. Ownership of this timeshare week also offers entitlement to an internal exchange, either to a different week of the year, or at a different UK location at Belton Woods in Lincolnshire or Slaley Hall in Northumberland. Week 32 can also be exchanged for a luxury week abroad through Interval International.
