Quickly reached from the airport, close to all the Orlando theme parks and within an easy drive to the Kennedy Space Centre, Marriott's Harbour Lake resort is ideal for children and provides a brilliant base from which to explore the area. The large villa includes a fully-equipped kitchen, a washer and dryer, 2 comfortable bedrooms with TVs, large beds, an en-suite and second large bathroom, a living/dining area, high-speed internet and a balcony. The floating platinum week means that the apartment can be used from January to April (weeks 1 to 17); June to August (weeks 22 to 34) or at Christmas (week 51) and can be exchanged through an exchange company such as Interval International.

The full two bed unit can sleep a maximum of 8 or can be divided into a one bedroom fully equipped apartment sleeping 4 and a separate, large double bedroom and bathroom. They can then be used for two separate holidays at different times or individually traded in or rented out.

The Patio Bar and Grill provides all day dining and the Outpost is open for snacks when you get up from your sun bed or your kids get tired of Waterworks, the water playground, or come out from the pirate themed swimming pool complex of Shipwreck Landing. There are plenty of outdoor BBQ's available for the family to use; a lounge in which to socialise with other guests and a gym to work off all the holiday excesses. The children can let off steam at the activity centres or in the arcade while peace and quiet can be found down by the tranquil lake.
