This Lodge is well positioned and has lovely views over Rutland Water. It is situated in the grounds of Barnsdale Hall, which is a RCI Gold Crown resort. It holds third place in Dial an Exchange top 50 Timeshare exchange resorts at this current time. The leisure complex also has a restaurant and bar meals are available. The lodge has its own parking space and there are many other areas to park, with no parking charges.

The lodge is sized for six people. The ground floor of the property comprises of 1 double bedroom with an en suite bathroom, one twin bedroom, a family bathroom, and a separate WC. There is an open plan lounge, dining area, and fully fitted kitchen on this level. On the first floor in the eaves there are two single beds. Outside there is a terrace with table and chairs.

Ownership of this property has year-round membership to the heated indoor swimming pool, the fully fitted gymnasium and squash courts, for up to six people. The first nominated holder of the membership is entitled to 10% discount on drinks and food.

Barnsdale Hall is situated between the market town of Oakham, approximately 6-8 minutes by car, with its castle and Stamford approximately 12 miles away. A visit to the lovely town of Stamford and the nearby Burleigh House and gardens is a must. Parking is currently free at Burleigh, there is no charge for walking around the vast site, but there are charges for the house visit.

On the adjacent Rutland Water there is cycle rental by the hour or day at 2 locations, the cycle ride round the water is approximately 20 miles and takes you past the Egleton bird watching area. If you have them, you can always bring your own bikes.

Trout fishing and course fishing is available.If you like walking this is the place for you. Artists and photographers will be overwhelmed by the opportunities available.

Several golf courses are available within very short travel distances.
