The Royal Savoy is a very relaxing place to stay, with indoor and outdoor pools, wonderful spa treatments and only a short stroll from plenty of restaurants and also the local town of Funchal.

Madeira is a beautiful island and the Botanical Gardens are well worth a visit. The Royal Savoy offers plenty of choice enabling you to happily eat and drink on site all week if you want (including self-catering if you prefer, with food shops nearby).

This timeshare belonged to my mother who sadly passed away, and I have children of school age and therefore this timeshare doesn't work for me as it is during school term...it might be perfect for you if you like to get away to a warm climate in February. This studio apartment has twin beds in a separate area, plus a sitting area with pull-out sofa beds meaning you can sleep 4, plus a kitchenette and a bathroom. The balcony looks out over the tranquil and lush grounds and pool.
