Rutland Hall/ Barnsdale Hall is an RCI Gold Crown resort standing on the shore of Rutland Water just outside Oakham, which is the county town of Rutland.

The unit for sale is a three-bedroom lodge that sleeps six. The bedrooms are downstairs, with the living area above giving a very nice view of the lake, which can also be enjoyed from the balcony. The lodge is fully equipped so that should you choose to use your week there you can live comfortably. There is a complete kitchen with a full-sized cooker, dish-washer, washing machine and enough crockery and cutlery to not have to wash-up after every meal. There is also plenty of car parking space available and even a helipad!not to have

The week is a fixed week in October, which can either be used on site or swapped using either RCI, Interval International or Dial an Exchange. It is red time; which means it can be swapped for anytime, anywhere. We have swapped using RCI several times travelling to Hawaii, Cancun, Cozumel, Orlando, Cyprus, Egypt among others.

The resort has excellent leisure amenities, including a swimming pool, gym, boules, pitch and putt, and crazy golf.

Stamford is about 10 miles to the east. This is a lovely country market town which dates to the Doomsday Book. It contains an example of types of architecture through the ages with Burghley House just on the outskirts. Burghley is an Elizabethan mansion built for William Cecil.

We have owned this timeshare for many years and have enjoyed using the sports facilities over those years. During this time the family has grown up as they do and now have busy lives elsewhere in the country and we have retired abroad. It has been fun but it is time to move on.
