Sellers Description*
Dalfaber Village Club is in an ideal setting. The Topsider sleeps 6 people, and overlooks the River Spey and the Cairngorm mountains.
The main bedroom is huge and has a queen sized bed, with en suite, the other bedroom has twin beds with the bathroom next door. The lounge is open planned and has a leather three piece suite, which pulls down to a double bed. The kitchen & dining area are fully equipped, where you can dine and look out to the river Spey and mountains. There is a balcony which runs all the way round the building, where you can relax with a nice whisky and enjoy the scenery, everything is on one floor. There is room to park 3 cars. Change over day is on a Saturday at 5pm. I have always used the fixed week, [24], which runs about the 11th June, or you now have the choice to use the points system.
The resort itself has all the facilities you require for a relaxing stay. You have access to 9 & 18 hole golf courses, a leisure pool, sauna, Jacuzzi, steam room and a lovely restaurant. Outside there is a full sized tennis court. They organise a weekly programme of entertainment if you wish to participate.
It's a 10/15 minute walk or a 5 minute drive into Aviemore, where there are plenty shops, and you have a choice of lovely eating places, where you are always made welcome. Loch Morlich is only a 20 minute drive, where there is a beautiful sandy beach with water activities available, and a lovely walk round the loch. There are cycle paths from Aviemore to the beach where you can enjoy the scenery. You have the Strathspey railway which takes you 10 miles to Broomhill. You have Granton-on-Spey and Boat of Garten nearby, which is worth a visit. The Highland Wildlife Park at Kincraig where you can see all the wild animals.
I have owned the timeshare for over 20 years and I can honestly say I have enjoyed every moment. I used to exchange with RCI, which was very good at the time, but in the last 10 years I have used it for myself and friends.
The only reason I am selling is because I have now moved into the area so have no more need for the timeshare.
