A real home from home, this good sized 2-bedroom villa is set in the mid-tier overlooking the beautiful Mamora Bay. Both rooms are en suite, one double and one twin with the option to sleep 2 more people on the sofa bed in the lounge, with a daily maid service, also comes with a turn down service in the evening.

All rooms are bright and cheerful with a beautiful aspect and good quality furnishings. Comfortable queen sized bed in the double room, comfortable single beds in the twin room (I'm sure if you asked you could convert this to a double bed) This is for 2 weeks, weeks 30 and 31 which are at the end of July and the beginning of August, ideal school holiday time, we have always been blessed with glorious sunshine. The villa is fully air conditioned with 2 private terraces overlooking the bay with BBQ facilities and outdoor furniture. The kitchen is fully equipped if you fancy cooking, but if like me you prefer to be wined and dined you have the choice of 4 restaurants and 4 bars, serving excellent food and a great choice of drinks including wines, beers, branded spirits, and soft drinks. We always take the all-inclusive option at US$90 per day, covers all you can eat and drink all day, there is a substantially reduced rate for children.

The weeks are "Bi-annual" meaning that you can holiday in Antigua every other year and maintenance is only invoiced every other year too. You can still exchange the weeks through Interval International and also make use of extra weeks available to exchange members so still holiday 2 or 3 times a year.

There is plenty to do to keep both adults and kids alike occupied. You can soak up the sun by one of the many pools, most have a bar, or on the beach there is even a drinks cart which travels up and down the beach so you need not lift a finger. Water sports are found at the bay, offering a good variety of sports including snorkelling, windsurfing, hobie cat sailing, kayaking, together with a PADI registered scuba diving school if you fancy trying your hand at diving. There are 4 tennis courts, a nearby golf course, ping pong and billiards tables and a gym. If you fancy a bit of pampering, there is a stunning spa overlooking the ocean and a hair salon. There is also a kid's club to keep the little ones happy. A complimentary buggy service is also available to get around the resort. A wide range of excursions can be booked via reception, I highly recommend a catamaran trip to the neighbouring island of Barbuda. Sunday parties at Shirley Heights are a must.

Antigua is steeped in history so for those who'd rather not sunbathe there is plenty to see and do. The resort has nightly entertainment and with a choice of bars serving some great cocktails you'll never be bored. We also rent a car when we arrive at a reasonable cost. There are 365 beautiful beaches to explore, our favourites are Half Moon Bay and Darkwood beach.

St James is a luxury resort in a breath-taking setting with 24-hour security and is very family friendly.
