Scandinavian Village is situated about 5 minutes from Aviemore village centre.

Aviemore is easily accessible by road, just over 2 hours from Edinburgh and an hour from Inverness. There is also a regular train and bus service.

My unit is a lovely end of terrace villa with parking at the door. It is decorated in a Scandinavian style which has been very well maintained and in good decorative
order. There is a downstairs toilet, fully fitted kitchen open plan to the dining/living room which has comfy seating TV and DVD player. There are patio windows leading onto a veranda. Upstairs offers two bedrooms with one having a double bed and the other bedroom provides two adult sized bunk beds to allow six people to sleep comfortably and a well-equipped bathroom and shower. The unit is just along the road from a lovely leisure centre.

Aviemore has a very good choice of restaurants and bars and always has a great atmosphere.

Scandinavian village is a great base if you are into skiing or snowboarding as the Cairngorm range is easily accessible by car or bus and if there is not enough snow great walking and cycling tracks.

If you fancy a day off from the ski-slopes, then visit the nearby Highland Wildlife Park and Highland Folk Museum.
