We have owned our lodge week at Cameron House since 1992 and in that time we have enjoyed holidays both at Cameron House and, using our membership of the exchange scheme with RCI, throughout Europe and North America. September is a lovely time to visit Cameron House, the weather is usually mild and sunny and the Scottish Midge is absent.

The lodge occupies a prime position and from its veranda you look across the golf course towards Loch Lomond. With only a short stroll to the Cameron House Hotel to enjoy its extensive Leisure Club facilities or on the shores of Loch Lomond you can savour wonderful dishes at the Boathouse restaurant. Within the resort there are opportunities for clay pigeon shooting, archery, kayaking, a lake voyage on the Hotel's own vessel the Celtic Warrior or a seaplane trip from the pontoon in front of the hotel reception.

If you wish to venture further afield you can utilise the local rail links from Balloch to Edinburgh and Glasgow. From nearby Helensburgh you can take the West
Coast Line to Mallaig and onwards via the regular ferry to Armdale on Skye, all easily accomplished in a day. By car you have a myriad of places in the Western Highlands to visit all within a comfortable days driving.

There is plenty to keep you occupied locally: Loch Lomond Shores shopping complex or the Sea Life Aquarium in nearby Balloch, the Bird of Prey Centre, Balloch Castle Country Park and further sightseeing boat trips on Loch Lomond.

From your comfortable lodge at Cameron House you can be as adventurous or as relaxed as you wish.
