We reluctantly are forced by age and ill health to relinquish what has been a wonderful source of enjoyment over the past 16 years.

Alvecote Marina is situated on the borders of Staffordshire and Warwickshire, UK, with access to several canals. Not far from Birmingham, just off the M42 motorway. See the countryside with a new perspective, everything looks different at water level.

Some of our best holidays have been spent afloat! Narrowboat holidays can be as adventurous or relaxing as you wish, with freedom to choose your own schedule. There are plenty of Pubs/Restaurants right beside the moorings, or cook for yourselves in the well equipped galley.

This week is floating time and can, therefore, be used any of weeks 1-12 and weeks 44-50. However, it may also be exchanged, via RCI, for a variety of other holidays. The exchanges we have made have proved to be of the highest standard, with plenty of choice worldwide.

In this way, we have enjoyed breaks in cottages or apartments, in several other UK locations, also in Spain, the Canaries, Portugal, Madeira, Malta and the Balearics.
