For the past 29 years we have hugely enjoyed owning this very attractive and well equipped two bedroom timeshare at Barnsdale Country Club on the northern edge of Rutland Water. Not only have we spent some great early autumn family holidays here, but also, through the inclusive club membership, many lovely days here throughout the year, using the Club's superb facilities.

Sadly, having moved away, and now in our Eighties, we are no longer able to get to the Club, so it is time to sell and allow another family to benefit in the same way we have.

The accommodation is a spacious detached Lodge with stunning views across Rutland Water. It has the capacity to sleep six people, with a ground floor double bedroom, a first floor bedroom with two single beds, and a comfortable sofa bed in the lounge area. From the veranda, there are captivating views over the lake and opportunities to watch the wildlife, frequently including ospreys.

The Country Club benefits from excellent facilities, including an inside swimming pool, table tennis, pitch and put, crazy golf, squash court, and bowling green. There is both a bar, serving food and drinks throughout the day, and a more formal restaurant open for lunch and dinner.

Barnsdale is well located with the attractive market towns of Oakham and Stamford on its door step, together with some excellent golf courses. There are some very pleasant walks, as well as bikes to hire for cycling round the lake.

As Barnsdale is a Gold Crown Resort, we have regularly exchanged all over the world through Interval International.
