The resort of Kololi Beach Club is located on the coast in the Gambia, West Africa. This one-bedroom apartment for sale sleeps 4 people; it is a floating week and is available for use at all times of the year.

Set amongst beautiful gardens and grounds and adjacent to a stunning sandy beach, the apartment is in a truly relaxing environment yet less than ~30min drive from the airport.

The resort is affiliated to Interval International.

The apartment, is one of the low rise units that form Kololi Beach Club. There is a well-designed combined living and dining room, with pleasant views from the private terrace or balcony.

The resort has good facilities and services. There are 2 swimming pools, a restaurant and beach bar. You can choose to sunbathe by the pools, on the lawns of the resort shaded by trees or on the sandy beach- which stretches over 2 miles. It is lovely taking a walk on the beach where you may also go horse riding and watch or participate in fishing.

There is a small 'supermarket', a beauty and massage centre and shop where you can purchase gifts and clothes and get your own clothes made. A practice golf course is also situated on site and there is a large screen television in a sheltered area. The staff at Kololi are very helpful and friendly and keep the units and grounds in excellent condition.

Adjacent to the resort is the striking Bijilo Forest, where a range of birdlife, red Colobus and green monkeys may be seen. At the back of the resort, just a few minutes walk away, is a tourist area (the 'strip') and Kololi town. The 'strip' and town has many restaurants offering a variety of international food of a good standard at very reasonable prices, bars, a craft market, local traders, various shops and tour guides. Although a short walk gets you into town, the resort itself remains totally private, quiet and unseen from the road. 

Tours can be organized on site and include bird watching trips in the Bijilo Forest and nearby Lamin lodge, local fishing villages, craft markets and boat trip along the river Gambia. The diversity of bird life in the Gambia is renowned and a typical trip would involve seeing a wide range of colourful birds including rollers,kingfishers and parrots. 

We are selling this week because of a change in our personal circumstances, such that we are having to forego the tranquility of this outstanding resort. We have typically visited in Jan, Feb or March to get away from the UK winter and soak up some fabulous sunshine.
