Just a 2 minutes' walk from the apartment takes you to a secluded swimming pool and sunbathing area, where you can relax after a busy day at the theme parks. The courtesy resort bus also stops at the pool entrance giving you free transport to all areas of the resort. The facilities, restaurants, bars, and entertainment of the West Village Clubhouse and leisure pools are approx. 15 minutes walking time from the apartment.

Just as you leave the boundary of Orange Lake there is a large Public supermarket where you can stock up with food and drinks. In the same area you find two popular restaurants/ bars giving you more eating options. If you want to travel further afield using Orange Lake as a base, then Interstate 4 West will take you to the beaches of the Gulf Coast (Clearwater & St Pete's) approx. 100 miles, or go East to Daytona Beach or Cape Canaveral.
