The lodge has been refurbished and decorated to a high standard. It sleeps 8 and has 3 bedrooms on the ground floor 2 of which are ensuite with Jacuzzi bath and power shower in the master bedroom. On the first floor there is a large living and dining area with Sky TV and DVD player. This adjoins a well-appointed modern kitchen with all facilities including dishwasher and washer/dryer. There is a fold down double bed, if required, in the living area and a further bathroom on this floor. There is a large furnished balcony ideal for alfresco dining or just to sit and enjoy the magnificent views along the Loch to the sunset in the west.
5 minutes from the lodge is the town of Balloch with its visitors centre, French market, shops, restaurants and rail link to Glasgow.

Week 24, in the middle of June, is an ideal time of the year to explore the picturesque Trossachs National Park with its many walks and climbs, either by car or on foot.

This is an ideal centre for golfing enthusiasts with a variety of good courses in the vicinity to suit all levels and plenty of other options for the non-golfers.
