As you drive down Lusty Glaze Road to the Glendorgal resort, you will see the most stunning view of coastline. I had never seen a more beautiful vista anywhere in the UK. From the outside of the Waterfront bar you can look across to Porth Island.

We couldn't wait to visit the island. There are steps from the resort that lead down to the beach when the tide is out. There are caves and rock pools and plenty to investigate. Porth beach itself is sandy and plenty of space to play and do all sorts of activities. There are lifeguards in place. Lots of surfers use this beach.

We have been lucky having such a fantastic area so close to where we stay. Whether you bring children, dogs or yourselves, you will be pleased to have a found such an idyllic location and want to return again and again. Our photos do not do it justice and we are in the middle of them so thought it best not to show them.
