Sheraton Vistana Resort, Lake Buena Vista, Orlando, Florida is 3 miles from Maingate Disney World and all associated attractions (Epcot etc).5 miles from Sea World, 3 miles from International Drive.

72 miles (98% interstate highway) to Tampa, less than 2 hours to Bradenton Beach where we usually spent 3 or 4 days before or after the timeshare. Bradenton has fantastic Gulf Coast beaches.

The resort has excellent range of accommodation, good beachside restaurants.

The club has all of the facilities plus tennis courts, walking trails, bars.

The large main bedroom with King size bed, ensuite with bath and walk in shower, access to enclosed garden room; large second bedroom with 2 Queen sized beds; another bathroom with bath and shower; large lounge/dining room including round table with 6 (8?) chairs, 2 armchairs and large sofa which extends into double bed. Lounge has access to garden room. Large TVs in each bedroom and lounge. Very modern kitchen with all appliances you expect in the USA. Large washing machine and tumble drier in room off hallway. Enclosed (with insect proof wire screening) garden room with table and 4 chairs. Overlooks lush garden with pond and fountain.Lovely views from rear.

We have banked our week a couple of times and used it at resorts in Australia and Spain. Now that our grandchildren are in school (and our daughter has returned as a teacher) we can only take 6 days if travelling with our daughter's family (arrive Sunday, leave the following Saturday) though we have thoroughly enjoyed our years visiting the area and have stayed there as a couple after visiting family in South Carolina.

It would also make a good holiday week before or after a cruise (eg 3 or 4 nights to the Bahamas from Port Canaveral which is an hour away).
