The Village Holiday club is a resort in the village of Koutouloufari. It is a small sought after resort, only 41 rooms and so is very peaceful. Facilities include an open air swimming pool, a sauna, a rental library for Movies and DVDs. There are is a bar onsite, no restaurant, but there are several different restaurants within easy walking distance. The 1 bed apartment sleeps 4 (sofa bed in the living room) It has a balcony and is on different levels so there are some steps. The kitchen area is very well equipped with everything you would need for your stay. The whole resort is maintained to a very high standard.

Koutouloufari is a traditional Cretan village and you can spend time just walking around the small streets and looking at the craft shops which sell products made by local people. There are views of the sea from the village. It is a very peaceful place.

The resort is only 20 mins from the airport at Heraklion and a similar distance from beaches. Knossos is thirty minutes away and there are many other experiences close by.

We are sorry to be parting with the timeshare, but the dates of our owned week does not work out with our work. It would have been lovely to see Crete in the spring,when the flowers are at there best and see the traditional Easter celebrations. The owned week is Week 16 and the exchange company is RCI. We are weeks members and the exchange value is 22 points on even years, which can get you a good exchange if you book in plenty of time.
