This week is a New Year's eve every year.

Loch Rannoch Highland Club Red Deer Lodge comfortably sleeps up to four persons and has access to a shared sauna. There is one bedroom with twin single beds that can be zipped together to make a large double and there is an extremely comfortable pull down double bed in the lounge. Both the lounge and the bedroom have wardrobes and chests of drawers with plenty of hanging space and storage. There are plenty of power points with heating in all rooms provided by individual panel heaters. The bathroom has a WC, bath with shower over, wash-hand basin with illuminated mirror and shaver point, heated towel rail and extractor fan. In the dining room there is a four seater table and chairs. The neat modern kitchen is well equipped with all modern appliances: hob, full size oven, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. There is a full range of cooking utensils and ample crockery, cutlery, glassware.

The apartment has a furnished conservatory/balcony, accessible through full width Patio doors, giving access to magnificent views across Loch Rannoch and the majestic Schiehallion mountain. The resort is dog friendly and welcomes responsible owners and their dogs. The lodge has a television and DVD/VCR providing access to Sky "free to view" channels. There is WiFi and a direct dial telephone with voicemail. All bedding and towels are provided and there is a self-service laundry room on-site.

Week 52 always includes New Year's Eve, or Hogmanay as the Scots say, and there is no place better to celebrate the year's end and the beginning of the new, than in the Highlands of Scotland.
