The Royal Coral Bay resort is situated on the outskirts of Coral Bay and is within easy walking distance of the town. Paphos is easy to access by bus and the site is easily reached by car or taxi from Paphos airport. The resort is well-equipped, well-maintained and many of the staff have been there since it first opened. The team do a great job in terms of providing family-friendly entertainment and are always friendly. One attraction of the resort is that it doesn't offer raucous night-life, but having been during all four seasons there is always plenty to do in a relaxing manner.

The staff are also great at helping with arrangements such as taxi transfers and/or hire cars and in generally providing suggestions on where to go and what to do. Most members visit with families and we have visited with large groups on several occasions, as you can always rent additional units if they are available. The two-bed units can be locked-off into a studio (sleeps 2) and a one-bed (sleeps 4) and used in this way for 2 one-week stays rather than the full week in the two-bed. The ground floor units have verandas and the upper floors have balconies, with lifts available.

The hub of the resort is the outdoor pool, surrounded by the apartments and the main block with bar and restaurant, games, the indoor pool and sauna etc and the shop (which sells its goods at decent prices). All the other services like tennis and the play-park for kids plus the car park are also adjacent.

Red float is great for people who are tied to school holidays or other peak periods - it means you can go on holiday at peak times without spending a fortune and the apartment is always there. The company also run other sites in Cyprus, and it is easy to book for friends or family to book to visit these on their own as long as there is availability. The resort is affiliated to Interval and over the years we've had the benefit of Exchanges and Getaways all over England and Scotland and also in Spain and Vienna, although opportunities further afield exist for people who are interested.

Why are we selling? Having bought our first week when the resort was still under construction in 2004, we've had over ten years of enjoyment and are now looking to sell this week and buy another timeshare elsewhere.
