Kololi Beach Club Ltd. is affiliated to Interval International. The resort itself is in The Gambia on the coast of West Africa. The two floating weeks are for sale and can be used any time of the year Our two bedroomed, two bathroomed villa will sleep up to six people.

The resort enjoys sun and blue skies all year round. Inside the resort it is blessed by a constant breeze from the Atlantic Ocean and shade offered by an abundance of tropical trees. There is a nine hole golf courses, fringed by the sandy beach that stretches for over two miles. The town of Kololi is a short walk away and contains many restaurants offering a variety of international food of a good standard and very reasonable prices. The town is bustling and the Gambians are surely the most friendly people you will ever come across! Although a short walk gets you to the town in no time the resort itself remains totally private, quiet, and unseen from the road. The resort has good facilities which include a terraced breakfast bar, restaurant, a practice golf course, a TV room, grocery shop, TV room and bar, and two swimming pools, the larger of which provides excellent sun bathing opportunities round its edges and fine swimming in water that is superbly cared for. There are a couple of plunge pools surrounded by palm trees that are very popular for those who like peaceful places to read, sunbathe, and snooze the day long. You can take your pick of where to sun bathe: on the sandy beach or on the lawns of the resort, which is shaded by trees. At all times you can choose company during the day or privacy and peace in the many shaded or sunny areas. On some nights there is entertainment such as African dancing, singing and music to dance to.

The staff at Kololi are very helpful and friendly. The photo we include of the cleaners, who are seen assembling on one of the lawns, shows them in their daily dress and confirms the care in which staff are dressed at all times. The photo of the interior of one of the living areas in the villa shows their spaciousness and modern furnishing. More photos can be supplied of social areas and pathways through the resort. All villas have either a large patio/dining area or a veranda. The view from the villa is either of shrubs and lawn, plenty of trees and across the way further villas. The sea can be seen in most cases less than 100 metres away through the trees. Air conditioning is available at an extra cost. There are big screen televisions in two sheltered areas. There are washing machines in each villa and there is a large, hidden car park for those with their own transport. There are plenty of activities for those active enough: e.g. water aerobics, volley ball, boles, darts, table tennis and extremely competitive and hilarious water polo held each afternoon. Horse riding on the beach, which stretches almost out of sight, is available at a small cost.

Besides the good local food available in town there are a number of fine dining restaurants within a short taxi journey and a couple of other resorts very well worth visiting that offer riverside accommodation and fishing. Next door to Kololi Resort there is a wild area that can be visited with a guide, and where troops of monkeys can be seen. The airport is a twenty minute taxi or resort transport journey from the resort.

We are selling our weeks because one of us is in his eighties and can no longer participate in the outdoor activities , sunbathing and sea scape on offer at the resort.
