Kilconquhar Castle Estate in Fife is located 1 1/2 miles from the charming harbour town of Elie, which is one of five harbour towns within 9 miles. The estate is 15 minutes from St Andrews, 1 hour from Edinburgh and within easy reach of many wonderful beaches. All of the harbours referred to above are steeped in history with Crail Granted Royal Burgh Status in 1310 by King Robert the Bruce. Ferries sail from Anstruther harbour to the bird sanctuary on the Isle of May where you will find a quarter of a million sea birds nesting in season. Interesting cycle routes whether on road or through forest are available for this area of Fife together with the Fife Coastal Path for walkers, which runs from the Forth Estuary to the Tay Estuary.

There are also 4 nature reserves within a few miles, together with St Andrews Aquarium and Scotland's
Secret Bunker only 7 miles away. Lots of great golf courses are in the vicinity and theatres can be found at St Andrews and Kirkcaldy. Kilconquhar Castle is rated at Gold Crown Status by RCI and should you wish to exchange your time share week to stay somewhere else you can choose from any other top resort that RCI offers.
