Cameron House is a luxury 5 star hotel on the banks of Loch Lomond. It has a championship standard golf course, relaxing spa and beauty treatments, swimming pool, squash courts, loch side marina, children's club and a crèche for younger children and a range of fine dining restaurants and bars. It is situated next to the traditional Scottish village of Balloch, West Dunbartonshire, often known as the gateway to Loch Lomond and The Trossachs. Balloch has many historical sites to visit, as well as Scottish highland walks and cruises on the Loch in the restored paddle steamer the Maid of the Loch. There are excellent travel links by road, rail and air, with Glasgow being the nearest city approximately 35 miles away.

The Lodge is Swedish style open plan with its own parking spaces and Sauna and Jacuzzi. Downstairs there are two large double bedrooms, one with en-suite, and the capacity to sleep two more comfortably upstairs in large pull down beds. Each bedroom has its own television with Sky channels, and great storage and wardrobe space. There are three bathrooms, two with baths and one with a shower, and a fully equipped kitchen, including all utensils, glassware and tableware. There is a large covered balcony spanning one side of the Lodge, looking out across the whole of Loch Lomond. As the Lodge is a 2 minute walk up hill from Cameron House, there is nothing to impede the stunning views of the Loch.

The week on offer is Week 11, which falls around the middle of March, when spring is coming to this idyllic Scottish setting and the Loch is beginning to bloom.
