Oasis Lakes at the Fountains is an RCI Gold Crown Resort set in 54 acres of land surrounding Lake Eve, situated on International Drive in Florida. It is easily reached from both Orlando International Airport and also from Sanford. It is about 16 miles and, depending upon traffic, usually within 20-30 mins. Since it is also part of Bluegreen there is the opportunity to join its vacation club to experience many other resorts throughout the USA and also Aruba.

The unit is a Type 'B' luxury apartment, refitted in January 2012, with all the appliances one would expect in such a unit. Cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave, washer/dryer, waste disposal unit and air-conditioning. It has two bedrooms, two full bathrooms and a balcony. It can sleep six people with ease, and, if they are very friendly, eight could manage! There are TV's in all rooms and there is a great view of Lake Eve. It is also close to the clubhouse which has a games room, kid's room, gym, and outdoor garden and restaurant and coffee shop.

The week on offer is 26, which covers July 4th; there is a lift in the building so the apartment, on the fourth floor, can readily be reached. There is parking, but only for one car and there are security gates both for in and out.

There is a massive pool, Wakoola, which has two water slides that twist, water fountains, hot tubs and a zero entry pool. Walgreens and Publix Super Markets are literally round the corner with lots of restaurants and take-aways nearby.

The lake also has its own amenities with paddle boats, fishing, and a pier; just a lovely area to relax and enjoy especially after a busy day at the local attractions.

Then, of course, the main reason for visiting Florida is the world famous attractions and Walt Disney World Resort is only 5 miles away and Seaworld is only 2. Universal Studios can easily be reached and if you haven't a car there is a very regular bus service up and down International Drive which calls at all the places of interest.

For those not so interested in Disney and the many theme parks there are at least two dozen world class golf courses within 20 miles or so and there are also the beaches at Clearwater and Daytona to visit. Just a little further is the Kennedy Space Center, which could be reached in 60-90 mins.

All in all the resort is a very attractive base for any holiday in Florida.
