It is with great sadness, that, for family reasons, we have decided to part with our much loved weeks at the beautiful Kenmore Club, an RCI Gold Crown resort. We have owned our weeks since 1988 and for over 25 years "August" has always meant simply "Kenmore". The resort is on the shores of Loch Tay surrounded by the hills and mountains of the Highlands. It is a truly wonderful place for lovers of walking, golf, fishing, cycling, bird watching, watersports and much more.

Edinburgh, Glen Coe and the West Coast are all within day trip range and there are two "Munros" nearby for the mountain lovers. Kenmore itself is a small village with a hotel, a bar and 2 very good restaurants all within walking distance. The so called "Cottage" is a roomy detached house in the original, much sought after, West Square within the old walled garden of Taymouth Castle. It has 2 double bedrooms which can be converted into twin beds if required, 2 shower/bathrooms and a utility room with washer/dryer all on the ground floor. The first floor is a very large open plan living area with an excellent full kitchen and dining area plus a very large comfortable sitting area with a kingsize sofa bed. The sitting area has a glass wall and doors leading onto a large balcony making the most of the wonderful view directly over the pretty square to the loch to mountain beyond. Our family always fight to be the ones sleeping on the sofa bed each year as we all love to wake to the view and the occasional sight of an Osprey if we are lucky. The many large velux windows add additional light and make this a fabulous room to relax in, even if it is raining!

The cottage is maintained to a high standard, refurbished regularly, and is one of the cottages on the resort, justifiably referred to as "Elite" by the resort owners Diamond Resorts.
