For those who know of orange lake I don't think I need to highlight the benefits of the facilities, for everyone else, just look on there web sight. The place is top class. We have been owners for 16 years and enjoyed every minute there. Orange lake is the perfect place for families with children of all ages. It is situated on highway 192 just west of Kissimmee. With the addition of being next to the toll road (429) it is now even easier to get to Disney rather than going the long way round.

The apartment its self is in the north village and is 5 minutes walk to river island pool complex and splash lagoon. It is the closest block to the complex with out being on the complex its self, (so you don't get all the noise). The apartment is on the 4th floor (2 lifts in the block) so really good views, view over the golf course from both front and side of the apartment. The apartment its self is to a very high standard (again see orange lakes own web page to see the layout and pictures). The apartment has 2 bed rooms and sleeps 6, there is also a sofa bed so 8 people can be accommodated (and it has been) quite easily. Parking is not a problem as there is good provision everywhere on site. On site facilities for food outlets and shops are very good (pizza etc) just off site by the main entrance's there are a good selection of places to eat and drink as well as having 2 supermarkets on your door step. Orange lake is easy to get to from both Sanford and Rolando airport both can be accessed from the bee line expressway which intersects with h/way 192 so traffic is not an issue. The facilities are that good you would never have to leave orange lake so much going for it, but as its the closest to Disney there is plenty more to do.

The specifically wanted 2 weeks we own (week 40 and 41) to co-inside with the half term school holidays in October. Flights are cheaper than the summer holidays. The temperature is generally high 70, to high 80's but as the weather breaks around the end of September you don't get the humidity so its a good blend of high temperatures but not the uncomfortable humidity. The reason we are looking to sell is that our children are now in there 20's and no longer want to travel with there parents (it comes to us all) we would like to travel further afield so we feel its time for someone else to benefit from the place we have enjoyed so much rather than leaving it to sit there empty.
