Onsite facilities include swimming pool with whirlpool spa, gym, restaurant, bar and children's play area, with an 18-hole championship golf course nearby.

Aviemore itself boasts many, and varied, shops and restaurants.

Nearby facilities include skiing on the Cairngorms, with a funicular railway to top, The Spey Valley Steam Railway, The Osprey Centre, The Landmark Forest Centre, The Reindeer Centre, picturesque lochs including Loch Morlich, four-wheel drive experiences, ATV trekking, dog sledging, fishing, pony trekking and canoeing.

The lodge also provides a good base to visit Loch Ness, Aberdeen, Inverness, Perth (Blair Castle), the Isle of Sky and to experience the Whisky Trail.
